Thari & Robbin, found, part 1 of 2

Two kids beach

Background and Note: Previously, Th'deus and Auryn had investigated rumors that Thari and Robbin were seen in this particular bad section of a bad hold, and Th'deus, posing as a Trader, had offered a firelizard egg in reward for information leading to the return of the kids. Auryn was posing as 'Ryn, brownrider (a point Xanth disliked immensely) who lost a bet to Th'deus and had to haul him around in his search for his 'missing apprentices' to his trading caravan. Auryn and Th'deus had been approached by a little man saying he knew where the kids were, if they'd meet him back there in a few days. Th'deus had decided not to take Auryn along -- too dangerous -- but had asked Hira to back him on the return trip. Hira was to pose as Auryn's lover (something that Th'deus did not clear with Lady Boll, because he wasn't planning on bringing her along anyway), to justify why he did not arrive with the same rider, in Bitra. Auryn, however, had her own ideas and got the Boll Watchdragon to drop her off on the appointed night, at the appointed time.

Thari and Robbin had indeed ended up in Bitra, as they were trying to chase down M'tr to try to have him arrested for what he did to Madri; they had heard rumors that the insane bronzerider were in Bitra.

This log has several start places. Th'deus and Hira, and their dragons, are starting from Fort Weyr and going to Bitra, the night that Th'deus and Auryn had been told to meet the whiney little man. Thari and Robbin are in Bitra, in a terrible neighborhood, trying to deal with Thari's sickness and their chronic lack of funds. Auryn got in on her Watchdragon. Rugen shows up whenever he wants to, wherever he wants to.

Players had already given open 'powerplay' permission and were encouraged to randomly emit NPCs. There was no particular pose order.
